All our favorite photos from Adams Unplugged 2025

A brief patch of rain was no match for the spirit of Adams Unplugged this Saturday.

It didn’t stop San Diegans from dancing in the streets. It didn’t stop musicians from belting out fan favorites. And for the few acts who did get caught singing in the rain, like Brian Blue as he began his set on the patio at bica, the weather proved no match. The guitarist simply packed up his amplifier and decided to play inside the shop where he … unplugged.

By the time the clouds broke around 3 p.m., the festival was in full swing, with its trademark charm on full display.

Right at that hour, San Diego musical legend Gregory Page was coming to the stage inside the Normal Heights United Church. The fans filling the pews were in for a treat, as Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Jason Mraz joined Page on bass as the band performed “Songs of Leon Redbone.”

Back on Adams Avenue, music lovers were enjoying two full miles of tunes, with an event footprint that stretched from Dia Del Cafe in North Park to Kensington Cafe. From noon to midnight, 80 musical acts took the stage at 24 different venues across the historic business district.

Here are some of our favorite photos from the day.
